Anzer Plateau
It is a plateau 35 km south-west of İkizdere district of Rize. It is divided into two as Lower Anzer (Çiçekliköy) and Upper Anzer (Ballıköy). It is 88 km from Rize city centre.
In addition to being the region where Anzer honey, which is beneficial for nature and health, is produced, it attracts many local and foreign tourists to the region as it is home to many endemic species of flowers. In 1991, it was declared a tourism centre by the decision of the Council of Ministers and has peaks exceeding 3 thousand metres and forests rising up to 2 thousand metres.
It is one of the regions worth seeing with its rich flora and fauna. It is also suitable for alternative tourism activities such as trekking, paragliding and summit climbing, and provides access to the Çoruh River and Bayburt Province from one side and Uzungöl Tourism Centre from the other side.
